西安市体育中心外围提升改善道路项目位于西安市未央区北辰大道，南起北二环辛家庙立交，北至秦汉大道, 是全运会配套项目，也是西安市北区片区“三横三纵”快速路网的重要组成部分。道路全长约9.5km，高架桥全长约6.4km，道路红线为100/60米，主线采用双向六车道，辅道采用双向六车道。

打通“断头路”畅通“居民心”

莲湖区纬二十五街，西起永新路，东至文景南路，是《西安市断头路打通工作实施方案》中，58条需要打通的断头路之一。改造前，附近居民若想在永新路与文景南路间通行需要绕行1.5公里。该道路建成后，文景南路、永新路、永福路之间形成路网循环，解决周边多个小区及学校近万人出行问题，有效缓解区域交通拥堵，改善周边群众居住和出行环境。
