根据wärtsilä energy transition lab的实时数据，至2020年4月19日止，与去年同期相比，欧盟(包括英国)的发电量下降4.8%。其中，煤电下降27.3%，燃气发电下降10.5%;但可再生能源发电量逆势上扬13.0%，达到406.42twh。可再生能源发电占欧盟发总电量的43%，比去年同期增加6.8个百分点。由于可再生能源比例增加，欧盟的发电碳强度下降17.6%，为205克/千瓦时。
