3月31日，据中共佛山市委宣传部消息，佛山2020年上半年重大项目集中开工投产活动启动，177个重大项目集中开工，总投资1570.61亿元，年度计划投资390.04亿元;73个重大项目集中投产，总投资402.97亿元，年度计划投资74.15亿元。

上半年集中开工投产的250个重大项目涵盖了新基建、工业经济、民生保障、基础设施等多个领域。其中，三水区联信5g科技城项目总投资4.06亿元;佛山开普勒大数据中心项目总投资约13亿元;广东格兰仕微波炉电器制造有限公司6月启建工业4.0细滘项目，总投资29.75亿元，将建设成工业4.0智能家电制造示范基地等。

2020年，佛山安排省、市重点建设正式项目367项、总投资9263.12亿元;年度计划投资突破1000亿元关口，为1091.87亿元。其中，政府投资主导的基础设施工程项目和民生工程项目起到重要拉动作用。基础设施工程项目总投资4376.5亿元、年度计划投资472.72亿元;民生工程项目总投资716.13亿元、年度计划投资109.46亿元。
